February Fun In K-W!

It’s time to melt away those winter blues with some February fun!

You might be feeling the chill this February, but don’t let the cold weather stop you from enjoying all of the fun things there are to do in the Kitchener-Waterloo area!

It’s the ideal time to get out and enjoy the beauty of the great outdoors, so grab your skates and check out some of the outdoor ice skating rinks in Kitchener and Waterloo, where you can glide across the ice while taking in the crisp winter air.

For a fun evening activity, there’s Skate Night, Date Night in Uptown Waterloo every Wednesday night in February from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. It’s the perfect spot to skate along to the tunes of DJ King Kadeem while enjoying a hot drink from Hissing Goose Coffee Roasters.

Finally, KW Mac & Cheese Fest returns to downtown Kitchener on Friday, February 27th, serving up creative mac & cheese samples from local vendors, alongside a variety of craft beers and cocktails. Your ticket includes tastings, games, and full access to museum exhibits for a fun (and very cheesy) winter night out!

Winter sometimes tends to drag on, especially if nothing is going on, but there’s still lots to keep you busy in and around the Kitchener-Waterloo area. Whatever you end up doing, here’s to you having a fantastic February!
